The Tallula Jumpsuit is a relaxed, easy to wear design with a softly gathered waist and wide culotte style legs that create a fluid silhouette. Wide shoulder straps frame a square neckline, and the bodice features a centre front button closure.
Ideal for medium weight woven fabrics such as cotton poplin, linen, viscose challis or crepe, Tallula adapts easily to a range of fabric choices for different looks.
Design details include side bust darts for shaping, a pull on elasticised waist with waist gathers and an adjustable belt tie, and discreet inseam pockets at the side seams. The bodice is finished with a centre front button and buttonhole placket, while the cropped culotte style leg falls just past the calf.
Suitable for intermediate sewists or confident beginners, the Tallula Jumpsuit is a satisfying project that results in a versatile wardrobe piece.
About Minerva Exclusive Patterns
We are thrilled to be able to bring you Minerva Exclusive Patterns, our very own range of designs, created by sewists for sewists. We have worked with designers, dressmakers and pattern testers from around the world to bring you accessible, wearable designs that you will love to sew and add to your me made wardrobe.
We develop and test each style in two separate size ranges. Size group A-J has a bust range of 78-106cm and is drafted for a dressmakers B cup. Size group K-T has a bust range of 104-150cm and is drafted for a dressmakers D cup.
Minerva Exclusive patterns are available in both traditional paper and PDF digital formats.
Our printed patterns include a beautiful full colour instruction booklet, A0 pattern sheets and a woven label for you to add to your garment.
Our PDF digital patterns are available to download instantly after purchase from your Minerva account. They are not a physical product and you wont receive anything in the post. Our digital patterns include 3 formats. A tiled file that you can print out at home on A4 or US letter paper. An A0 copy shop file, so you can have your pattern printed onto large A0 sheets. A projector friendly file so you can trace your pattern directly onto fabric using a projector (no printing required), plus your instructions. All file types are layered patterns, so you can print all sizes or just the sizes you need and hide the rest. You will need Adobe Reader (free to download) to print at the correct scale.
The instruction booklets include links to inspiration for this pattern from the Minerva community and a top fabric picks video to help you in choosing the right fabric. As well as the instruction booklet, we also include a free sew along video to help guide you through the pattern from start to finish, with lots of helpful hints and tips along the way.
