A Minerva exclusive, this gorgeous design is printed onto a four way stretch suiting fabric which has a fabulous weight and beautiful soft handle. It is resistant to creasing, so great for everyday wear!
It is made from a blend of 90 percent polyester and 10 percent elastane fibres and the added elastane gives this fabric a 15 percent stretch both ways, both across the width and down the length. This makes it an extremely comfortable fabric to wear and easier to achieve a great fit on fitted styles.
At 210 grams per square metre, this fabric is classed as a medium weight and is opaque even on lighter colours.
The weight and opacity make this an extremely versatile fabric. It is the perfect choice for sewing skirts, dresses, jumpsuits, trousers, jackets, suits and more.
We recommend sewing this fabric with a new universal needle for best results.
This fabric is POD (printed on demand), so please allow extra time for delivery. Once you place an order for POD fabric, our team will carefully print your chosen design, on your chosen base cloth, to your chosen size, with care. We pride ourselves on quality of materials, quality of printing and fast turnaround.
Because your fabric is made to order specially for you, please allow approximately 2-6 weeks for despatch of your order that contain POD fabric, however our turnaround is often much quicker. Please note this is only an estimate and to allow extra time during peak times.
If you are ordering other items at the same time and need those urgently, please place a separate order and those can be despatched from the Minerva warehouse with our usual speedy turnaround.
Please note, with print on demand fabrics, each individual order is its very own print lot. Identical to the concept of dye lots, this means it is highly advisable to order enough digitally printed fabric to complete your project at one time, to ensure all your fabric arrives from the same print lot. If two or more separate orders are placed, the fabric may vary.
Why choose POD (print on demand) fabric?
Print on demand (POD) is a more sustainable and conscientious approach to fabric. Every fabric is printed to order, which means we can focus on creating less waste, saving energy, and following ethical production practices.
Digital printing technology minimizes chemical and dye use compared to traditional screen printing, contributing to cleaner production processes.
The scalability of POD allows for small scale, local production, which not only supports local economies but also reduces the need for long distance shipping and storage.
By supporting and investing in POD, we take a significant step towards a more responsible, environmentally conscious fabric industry that is equipped to meet the challenges of our era.
