This really is the most fabulous quality cotton that feels beautifully soft against your skin and will be lovely and breathable to wear.

Loop back French terry is a knitted fabric that is has a smooth finish on the surface and little loops on the back which help to create a thicker fabric that will keep you warm. It is made from 95% cotton and 5% lycra which gives it a 30% stretch across the width (from selvedge to selvedge) and a 50% stretch down the length of the fabric.

It is a soft and stable knit, making this fabric the perfect choice for sewing cosy tops, dresses, sweaters, cardigans, skirts and more.

At 260 grams per square metre, this fabric is classed as a medium to heavy weight. It is thicker than a regular cotton jersey but thinner than a fleece back sweatshirt. The fabric is opaque and will not require lining.

We recommend sewing this fabric with a new ballpoint needle for best results.

This fabric is POD (printed on demand), so please allow extra time for delivery. Once you place an order for POD fabric, our team will carefully print your chosen design, on your chosen base cloth, to your chosen size, with care.
