Hi, I've sewn for many years, didn't do so well at school but in my early adult life I got into sewing from Burda magazines with the help of my Mum. I loved their trail blazing varying patterns and always strived for a unique look. My Mum and I won a place in the final of the Burda National Awards in 1992. I had a break when my children were growing up but returned full force just before the pandemic. I can't believe I had so many years not using my creativity. I find such fulfillment and accomplishment and love challenges. I relish learning; trying new patterns and new fabrics and would like to get back to doing some pattern cutting again.
