I’ve enjoyed wearing this skirt even more than the process of making it. The photos that I’m sharing are of me wearing the skirt while on vacation. I wore this skirt on our trim, A LOT. It was super comfortable to wear in the heat of the summer when I wanted something that looked a little more fancy then wearing shorts.

For the photos, I intentionally skipped including the drawstring. Sometimes I’ve like the look of a flat front in the waist of a skirt. That said, the waistband ended up being a little loose so I’m going to add the drawstring to wear with this skirt in the future.

I’ll share at the end ways that I’d like to use up some scraps that I have left over from this project. I think it would be fun to make a mini version of this skirt OR a patchwork version. I’m a little more intrigued with the patchwork idea as I haven’t yet delved into creating a patchwork fabric (with my fabric scraps) to create patchwork garments, yet.

I’d highly recommend this fabric as the print is versatile and the Tencel Twill is easy to sew and lovely to wear. As I mentioned in the “making” post for this project, I wore this skirt ALOT while we were on vacation. It’s easy and comfortable to wear, year round really. I find I wear a lot of blue hued tops so this print is a really nice constrast with the tops that I have in my wardrobe.
