How lovely to have a sewing buddy - exchanging a few words on the site is OK but nothing like the real thing when you finally meet and ralise you have so ,much in common. A lifetime friendship I guess!

I've checked out where Calke Abbey and of course it's in Derbyshire. So far from Anne and I or we could have had a foursome - now wouldn't that be fun!

You both look great! I'm sure you had a fantastic time. I agree with Avril.....so nice to meet up with other sewers. I'm lucky to have my sister who loves sewing as much as I do, and it's lovely that my daughter is now beginning to enjoy it too.
