Enter the #SewFree challenge and WIN!

We all love a bargain and there’s no better bargain in sewing than a free pattern. This July we want to celebrate everybody’s favourite price tag and share your favourite makes you’ve created using free patterns in our #SewFree challenge

All this month we would love you to share your favourite projects you've made using free patterns. They don't need to be dressmaking patterns - why not share your makes using free bagmaking, quilting, home décor or even knitting and crochet patterns?

You can even enter by sharing one of our Minerva With McCall’s patterns and telling us what fabric you would sew it up in.

10 lucky winners who enter our challenge will each win a £50 Minerva Gift Card. You can enter as many times as you like with different projects between now and the closing date of Friday 31st July.

RULES TO ENTER

1) To enter, simply share a photo (or multiple photos) or video of a project you've sewn using a free pattern or tell us about a free pattern you'd like to sew and what fabric you'd like to use.

2) Tell us all about it! We'd love to hear how you got on with the pattern. If it's one that's not available at Minerva, why not add a link so other makers can try the pattern too?

3) Add the hashtag #SewFree into the post to enter your project in the competition.

4) Share your post on Minerva by the end of July 2026.

Please note; You can enter multiple times with different projects and each one will class as an entry (just be sure to use the hashtag #SewFree on each one).
