Hello Makers. First, let’s talk about this fabric. It’s 100% cotton jersey stretch knit fabric called Languid Lynx that’s POD (print-on-demand). It’s soft, easy to sew, and has a really nice drape. As a Minerva brand ambassador, I was gifted this fabric in order to create something.

The material washes and dries really well. It stays soft and there’s no fading of the print. I knew I wanted to do something drapey with this. The only issue I had with the fabric was dealing with the tendency for it to curl on the cut edges. That meant I had to do a lot of ironing to try my best to keep the raw edges flat. Otherwise, this cotton jersey is easy to sew.

I had purchased the Love Notions Boyfriend Cardigan pattern that I figured would be perfect. The pattern comes together quickly. And it is the perfect project for a drapey knit fabric like this.

And since I had enough fabric left, I also made a sleeveless mock neck top to wear with it. This is from a very old pattern - Kwik Sew 2948. These are great to have in a variety of colors because they can be worn under sweaters, jumpers, tops, etc. But that’s it for this fabric/pattern combo.
