A mature sewer, having lost count of how many items I've created over the decades. I'm a writer, so find sewing an excellent way of chilling out, letting my mind and fingers indulge in creativity. Am always up for trying new techniques, different materials. Love the world of on-line sewing, so many ideas and tips to pick up. A wedding dress was my biggest challenge, along with bridesmaid dress and mother of the bride outfit. Men's shirts, kid's outfits, dresses, jackets - you name it and I'll have a go. Bit of a perfectionist, and find if I slow down, then the enjoyment in creating a garment is greater.
