Hello, I was born in 1960, and I have always loved sewing, the first garment I ever made at school in the 70's was an Denim A Lined skirt, which I was very proud of and pleased with, I became self taught mainly by reading book's my work room is in my Attic as my husband does-not like the sound of sewing machine's. I have Dyslexia which mean's I find sewing instructions incredibly hard to understand, and love style Ark. I figured a way to sew garments over many years of failure. If you can do a jigsaw puzzle or look at a similar garment to the one you want to sew 9 x out of 10 it will work. I started to make my own clothes again, in the last 3 year's, an last year I found this club Minerva it is such a lovely web site and very cleverly done.
