Pattern Description: Vanessa Pouzet Wanted Tee--The boutique's signature model. A top with an incredible square neckline that will flatter all body shapes. Developed in collaboration with a lingerie modeler, it was designed to be able to move and bend over without yawning during your movements. 4 sleeves to choose from and a bonus tank top included to follow you all year round. To be made with a simple sewing machine.

Pattern Sizing: 32-48. I made a size 34 in the shoulders grading to a 36 at the bust.

Were the instructions easy to follow? The instructions are in French but are easy to translate using Google. The only tricky part is the neckline and there are a few tutorials out there if you need help.

What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern?

Likes: The square neckline is very flattering and sexy without being too low.

Dislikes: There are a few strange fit issues that I need to work out. The back neckline is too wide and stands out from my neck at the center. The top has quite a lot of negative ease and I might benefit from sizing up or at least doing a full bicep adjustment.

Fabric Used: Minerva Core Range Organic Cotton Jersey Stretch Knit Fabric Dark Red, 1.5m. The fabric is a nice thick jersey with great stretch and recovery. The color is a nice saturated true red.

Changes/alterations: I blended between sizes, shortened the sleeves 2 inches and shortened the body one inch.

Would you sew it again? This was my third version of this top. I really like the neckline so I would not rule out sewing it again at some point in the future. However for right now, I think 3 is probably enough.

Conclusion: A perfect marriage of pattern and fabric. Such a nice elevated basic that will get worn year-round.
