I really wanted to make a summer matching set in the new Minerva Exclusive Cotton Sateen. This fabric is so lightweight and wonderful to work with and the print is so bold and vibrant.
I made the Fibre Mood Aila shirt and the Papercut Patterns Tula shorts. Both patterns are tried and true for me, so they were very easy and quick to sew up. I love how they create a faux-romper look when worn together. The Aila is a size XS and the Tula shorts are a size 2 with mods to fit.
After finishing both of these pieces I had enough fabric leftover to create another top. I made the Pattern Emporium Field of Dreams crop top. I made a size 6 with the high neckline and thin straps. This top is fully lined and I used self-fabric as the lining.
I can't quite decide which look I like best. I think all three of these pieces will get lots of wear this summer.
