If you haven't noticed, I'm a bit overall and jumpsuit obsessed. I’ve made quite a few over the last couple years and I love to try different patterns for them. One of my favorites is the Burnside Bib pattern by Sew House Seven. I love it so much I made 3 pairs in less than 3 weeks. One particular pair I made was in a lovely chambray I found at a remnant store. My good friend loved my chambray pair so much that I gave them to her. However, I’ve been really wanting another pair. When I saw the Safiya Dungarees from Tilly and The Buttons’ book “Make it Simple”, they reminded me of the Burnside bibs. One of the fabric suggestions for them was chambray too. Both the Burnsides and the Safiya’s have cropped, wide legs, a tie at the waist and the bibs look a bit similar on both patterns. The pockets are completely different though. The Safiya’s have inseam pockets while the Burnsides have a curved patch pocket sewn to the outside. I want to make ALL the patterns in “Make it Simple.” Since the Safiya Dungarees looked so similar to the Burnsides I figured it was a great place to start. . . . Let's talk about the fabric requirements. . If your fabric is around 150cm (60in) wide: Sizes 1–4 (UK 6-12 / US 2-8): 2.3m (2 ½yd) fabric Sizes 5–10 (UK 14-24 / US 10-20): 2.6m (2 7/8yd) fabric
