Once or twice every year I find myself sewing some bags. I haven't bought one from a shop for a long time. If I find a bag that I like, I'm always thinking "I could make that" and so I do. Eventually. This bag was the prototype - I really wanted a BIG bag where I could stuff all the things I actually don't need (until the moment I do need them and don't have them with me). I also wanted to use this sequined lace on my bag. So I planned and cut the fabrics and came up with that. It's all my own design, just the things I like in a bag put together. All the other fabrics are remnants or the pieces you find in the furniture shop if you want to choose the cover for your new sofa or chairs. I love to sew them into a beatiful items and give them a brand new life. And in my little way, use some trash :) I think the sequined fabris livens up my bag really well. I've been using it since autumn and my bag shows no wear or tear. I guess I don't need to sew another one for quite some time! :D Why and for what I actually used this sparkling sequined fabric? You'll know soon enough! Kadri #bagmaking#sequinedlace#sequins#sewingmakesmehappy#sewbags#sewsequins#lace#ilovesewing#sewingismysuperpower#handmadeisbetter
