Snoopy Quilt - Part Two

...For the binding I just made 2” strips from the left over Snoopy cotton and machined the right side around the edges. Binder clips were the absolute saviour on this part to hold everything neatly in place whilst stitching the back of the binding down to the back of the quilt. Yes – I hand sewed it. Again a labour that really paid off as it looks lovely and neat on both sides now.

I had a few scraps left-over and so also made a mini quilt…well, for no particular reason. But baby Esther Tortoise looks cute on it. (She’ll be hibernating soon…). Bagel Cat also took a turn on the big quilt and gave it the snooze of approval.
