Really pleased with my Lumi top! However as you cam see from the photo it isn't right with my linen trousers! There is a colour difference between the fabrics and I think that it's because I made them over a year ago and they have been washed multiple times. I feel sure if you ordered different base cloths in the same pattern that would not be a problem. In fact I have made a swimsuit and matching linen skirt in different basecloths of the same pattern and it worked well. (Scroll down my feed to see).

I am not disappointed though as I absolutely love the jewel colours of this WildflowWhispers bamboo jersey and think it looks great with my black pants.

I have outlined in my previous post the construction of this top. It was a fairly easy make and Style Arc have improved the tutorials on their patterns and now include video tutorials so this could be made by a beginner.

the fabric needs a little care when sewing as is very stretchy. I used iron on stabiliser around the neck and you have to be careful when sewing that the fabric doesn't stretch but it is worth it as it is beautiful fabric!

The pattern is Style Arc Lumi top and dress that you can now get from Minerva as either a PDF or paper pattern.
