I'm so happy to finally share my version of the Edenfield dress!

My version is made from the gorgeous Minerva Exclusive Falling Blossom Viscose Jersey and is also lined with stretch-knit fabric.

This dress has some gorgeous details! The beautiful neckline with the pleats in the back, the gorgeous skirt with the high slit, are making this a real beauty!

The dress is fully lined but I am sure that it can also be made with only lining the bodice and skipping the lining for the skirt ( the slit will have to be finished with a little hem)

This luxurious viscose jersey has a great drape, it is easy to sew, and the vivid colors in the print are just gorgeous!

This is a PDF pattern, and I have a few tips from my personal experience :)

*Always, always print the page with the scale control square first! ( I used to skip this step , but one day I made a pair of pants, from a well-known to me company, and they were really tight! I couldn't figure out what was wrong. When I measured the square, it was too small! After this, I printed at 103% for years to get the correct size. Just recently, I discovered that a little sliding thingy in the paper tray was not in the A4 stand... now it is in the correct position, and my printer is printing at "real size" or 100% again!

*To put my PDF patterns together, I am using a light pad!! This is GOLD!! The lightpad itself is very cheap, about 20 euros :))) But by using it, I don´t need to cut any edges anymore of the papers! That saves sooo much time and handwork! Also, very easy to see where you align the pages, and very accurate, without painfully trying to match cut edges and all that!! I am definitely going to make this dress again! I love the swing of the skirt, and being sleeveless is perfect for the hot Spanish days!
