Today, the new Melissa Lowry fabric collection launches exclusively here on Minerva. It includes 10 beautiful prints and all of them are available on all the wonderful Minerva exclusive fabric bases. I seriously gasped when I opened the package and saw and felt this wonderful fabric for the first time. It is a dream come true. The print is just stunning - the colours, the flowers… it’s perfect, what can I say. The Supima cotton lawn is so soft and fine and a dream to work with.

I did not want to spoil the print by cutting it up too much, so I went for a fairly simple sewing pattern. The easy peasy top by Lise Tailor is so cute! The fit is great and I’m in love with the sleeve details.

I made a size 46 with no mods.

Worn with my Belladonna skirt by Stitchmaiden in moss green linen.
