Before my rather embarrassing last Ambassador make I have been making up some autumn clothes in fabrics I bought in the last Minerva Sale. I spotted this lovely viscose challis and combined it with the Maisonette Fauve Bellini blouse. The blouse is combind with a lovely silk as a kit by Minerva and this is clearly more of an everyday make but the result is one I will really enjoy wearing teamed up with many off my previous trouser and skirt makes this autumn.
The viscose challis washes really well, irons easily and gives a really smart yet comfortable look to any make. I used a rotary cutter and a regular size 70 needle in my machines along with guttermans polyester thread. The pattern is easy to follow and the sleeve openings are genius and placed into the seam in the 2 part sleeve. I will certainly be making this blouse again.
