Emily in Paris Cobalt Suit 💙 Project Update #3 : Sewing Trousers

I am *very* close to finishing the #v1870 trousers! The sewing process has been moving along nicely now that all the prep work is out of the way.

Pattern adjustments:

✂️ shortened the crotch rise by 1 inch

✂️ added pockets

✂️ opted out of front leg center stitch - just pressed the fold down the front

Fabric 💙This fabric has been wonderful to work with and has made the sewing process truly a dream. It presses really nicely and as mentioned in a previous post, no vibrancy was lost in the pre-wash.

Next steps are to work on the hem, add the hook and eye on the waistband, and give the whole thing a nice press. Then on to the jacket! 🥰
