The make I'm proudest of this year - recreating Anna's coronation dress from the first frozen film!
My first foray into machine embroidery (with the help of my friend holding my hand the whole way), Anna is comprised of a boned bodice, an 11 panel box pleat skirt, and a petticoat.
I used duchess satin, cotton velvet, coutil, anti static lining, and poly cotton along with a decent amount of spiral steel, flat steel boning, and horsehair trim to create the perfect shape.
The bodice pattern is Nikita Cosplay's Self Made Princess pattern, and the skirt and petticoat are self drafted. The skirt also has a pocket!
