Ooooof! What can I say… this has to be the first ever top that I’ve made that I’ve loved from the second I started making it! I’m not normally a fan of separates due to the lack of experience I have in resolving fit issues. I am loving the fact that it’s a free pattern too!

The big swishy tulip sleeves add drama to this top making it both a massive hit for a night out for some cocktails with the girls, as well as day strolls in the park – all depending on the fabric you choose.

This fabric is lovely. It’s soft against the skin, swishy, and the colours are something else! It washed amazingly well and didn’t fade at all. Quick drying and if hung right away –hardly any ironing – bonus!

The pattern I used is from Mood fabrics and is the Karri top. It’s such a fabulous pattern with so many different looks achievable depending on fabric picked.

I had a lovely date night planned and this fabric had the perfect colours, as well as swish for the sleeves, so I opted for the night time cocktail vibes and paired with some jeans and heels.
I even added a heart button to show the love!
