Here is my finished Trinnie dress in the most beautiful multicolor cotton lawn. As I mentioned in my previous post, I’m in a neon phase and I love every fabric that has a splash of neon. In this case, it is a mix of different neon colors with light blue and purple. Only bad thing is that the fabric doesn’t photograph well because splashes of color look blurry. Trust me, in real life this fabric is amazing!

Cotton lawn is a light and stable fabric, perfect for blouses and dresses. I have used Lady McElroys cotton lawn before and I adore working with it and wearing finished garments. Colors are stable even after many washes.

After long deliberation I decided to make view B of the original Trinnie pattern. Now I think view A would also look good with this fabric, but I’m happy with the one I made. The dress is elegant, work appropriate and fun thanks to the fabric design. I’m not a big fan of maxi dresses and this length is on the border of being too long for me.
