As I started to get more confident sewing, I started buying more expensive fabric, not just deadstock and market stall finds! I searched far and wide for a nice multi-check fabric to make into a summer dress. I was really pleased with this #brushed cotton, which i think most people might use for making soft pyjamas? I adapted the #Burda 5971 pattern to add pockets, and to lose the waste band channel. I can't believe so many dress patterns don't have pockets. Where are people supposed to keep their phones?
