Proper chuffed with this! I've never made a coat, ever!
Padded coats seem quite the thing this year and I realised I could make one bespoke to me for a decent cost, do here it is!!!
The Assembly Line pattern came together well, I lengthened the sleeves as I have long (read: monkey!!!) arms and I didn't want breast pockets (my big boobs don't need more attention!!!)
I love the length too, feels cosy.
I added and extra layer of batting and lined the coat with a patterned floral print. The main fabric was a bit lightweight and was white inside so I thought the lining was essential.
Loving the green though; one of my favourite colours! 💚
