Lounge Set for Supreme Coziness!

Thanks Minerva for this quilted cozy fabric! I dithered way too long about what to make with it! I should have looked to see what others made here since there are so many excellent uses of it in so many colors!

I made a two-piece set: The jacket is the Tamarack Jacket by Grainline Studio (using a pre-quilted fabric).
I made the sleeves with a Petal Hem and altered the pockets to sit at an angle and meet the front and hems of the jacket so they'd be secured. I bound the interior and all edges. Snap Closure. The only other modifications I did were sizing related and had to do with lowering the back neck.

For the Pants I used the Closet Core Carolyn Pajama Bottoms.
I made Petal Hems, a wider waistband with drawcord, and I bound the pocket opening.

The fabric is very soft and stable. For a knit, it's not that stretchy. It has just enough!

I do think the sleeves and legs grow a bit in length when I wear them. I had to shorten the legs almost 4" after I made them. I did so by splicing at sewing them back together along a quilt seam and it's invisible. Phew!

I sort of want more garments in this fabric. It's so easy care, easy to sew, and very comfortable. Not too warm either.

If you like videos/live streams, and want to see how I made petal hems or any other details, you can check them out here. I made the petal hems on the pants a bit differently as far as position goes once I finished the jacket and had that knowledge.
