I've had this gorgeous viscose and I was really inspired to make a wrap dress. I'm so glad I went for the Eve dress from Sew Over It because it's the perfect dress to go for a walk in the city, cute but with a relaxed fit.

This fabric is so cosy and lightweight for the summer days. Besides, this viscose is soft, quite drapey and easy to cut, press and sew. I love to wear it and it flows and moves beautifully.


The Eve dress from Sew Over It is a gorgeous wrap dress with sleeves options and varying hem choices. I made the short version (version 1) of the Eve dress and chose the fluted sleeves (I do love the shape of those butterfly sleeves).

I had 3m of the fabric (the final pattern recommends slightly more) and the only reason I needed all of it was the length of the waist ties!

I cut between the size 10 as I always do with Sew Over It patterns as that pretty much exactly matches my measurements and am really happy with the fit.


I sewn many Eve dresses before (9, I guess) but a black and white wrap dress is a staple wardrobe. I felt like I needed it.
