It's been awhile since I've had time for my self, much less time to sew. But finally back and for the start of #memademay2022 with a fun new shirt.

One of my favourite knit top patterns is the Love Notions Forte Top in View C, which has this cute sleeve flounce that just elevates this top from a regular basic tee. I made a size XL with the included full bust option and the only adjustment I needed was to shorten the shoulder length a smidgen. This is my fifth version, but first one in viscose jersey; I've already tried cotton spandex and cotton jersey for the other four.

For me, View C only needs about 1.5 yards of fabric, which is the first sewing win here. And then it sews up so quickly with the only hem needed for the shirt (if you're so inclined tbh) so that's another win for sure.

This beautiful yellow floral viscose jersey was just perfect for this pattern and I love how light and swishy it turned out. Great colour and weight for spring sewing.
