Hi! I'm Katherine, and I'm so happy you're here. I'm the maker behind Sheer Stitchery, where you'll usually find me with a cup of coffee in one hand, fabric shears in the other, and just enough confidence to cut into that expensive fabric I've been saving. (Most days, anyway.) I didn't start sewing because I wanted a closet full of handmade clothes—I started because I wanted to slow down. The more I learned about the waste behind fast fashion, the more I realized I wanted to wear things with a story. Clothes that were made thoughtfully, fit beautifully, and were created to last. These days, sewing has become so much more than a hobby. It's my creative outlet, my quiet place, and occasionally my reminder that seam rippers exist for a reason. I love beautiful fabrics, timeless patterns, and creating garments that I'll still be excited to wear years from now.
